Featuring two bedrooms, two bathrooms, spacious open-plan living, a fully equipped kitchen and private parking, it’s the perfect accommodation for couples, families and longer stays in the Cape Winelands.
The Space
Your Accommodation
From a small staircase the front door opens up onto a fully equipped covered patio with amazing views to the surrounding mountains. The patio has a comfortable sofa, table and Weber braai for lazy evenings with a glass of wine.
Straight off the patio through double doors is the comfortable lounge area with large sofa and flat screen TV with a full satellite TV subscription ensuring a constant supply of TV programmes, movies and live sport.
The recently installed inverter system will keep the lights, TV and WiFi all running during load shedding.
The spacious open plan kitchen and dining area boasts a large dining table and the kitchen itself is fully equipped with oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine / dryer etc.
We have also added a Nespresso machines for those that love their coffee in the morning.
Off of the main living area is a small corridor leading to the two bedrooms. In the corridor is the communal bathroom which also serves bedroom two. Bedroom one has its own en-suite bathroom complete with a tub and standalone shower. The master bedroom houses the king bed and has plenty of storage with its built in wardrobes.
The second bedroom comes with two single beds that can be made into a double, again boasting plenty of storage with its built in wardrobes. Located within a gated apartment complex security is well taken care of.

Appliances and Electronics
Coffee Machine
A Nespresso coffee machine is located in the kitchen. We supply some pods to get you going and more are available at Checkers on the high street
Oven, Hob & Dishwasher
The food in Franschhoek is excellent but if you fancy cooking then an electric hob and oven are available with a dishwasher to take away the stress of cleaning up!
Washing Machine & Dryer
A washing machine is located in the tall cupboard in the kitchen along with a stand alone dryer. Iron and ironing board are also available in the broom cupboard.
Inverter System for Load Shedding
The main distribution board is situated in the broom cupboard in the kitchen. The inverter system will come on automatically in the event of a power outage and will work the TV, WiFi and several lights. Rechargeable lamps are also supplied.
Smart TV with DSTV
Our smart TV is ready to play Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney Plus etc. Just plug in your details and you will be up and running in no time. DSTV decoder box is managed by the smaller remote control
Stereo
Connect your phone to the Stereo unit via Bluetooth to stream your favourite music. The unit also has wireless charging capability. For further information please read the instructions booklet
Other Information
Barbeque / Braai
A "Weber" kettle barbeque or "Braai" in South Africa is located on the weather sheltered veranda. You may need firelighters and briquettes, both available at Checkers on the High Street.
Fire Extinguishers
A portable fire extinguisher is available on the landing outside the front door. A Fire blanket is located in the kitchen. Smoke detectors are installed in the apartment.
Remote Control & Security
The remote control opens the gates to the development when you enter or leave. The gates will close automatically behind you. There is no alarm system at the apartment due to it being located in a gated community, however, please close all windows and lock all doors when you leave the property.

Make your stay even more relaxing with optional breakfast boxes delivered to the apartment or a massage from a visiting therapist. Please contact us before or during your stay to arrange these additional services.

Behavior
House Rules
No Pets
We love furry friends but due to the additional cleaning required we have a no pets rule. This can be discussed for long staying guests.
No Parties
Please be mindful of our neighbours. Le Bourgette is a peaceful community where people come to relax and enjoy the scenery, food and wine.
No Smoking
Please do not smoke inside the apartment. Ashtrays are provided on the balcony if you wish to smoke.
Report Any Damages
We operate an honour system based on trust. If you break something, please notify our property manager immediately or upon check out.

Markets
Held every Saturday morning under the oak trees in the NG Kerk's churchyard (High Street) between 9am and 3pm. Offering a large range of food, crafts and live music.
Wine Estates
Many of the wine estates offer tastings, some by appointment only. Some of the main wine estates are listed here. The wine tram (High Street) has a good list and the option to visit most of the local estates.
Restaurants
Franschhoek is known as the gastronomic capital of South Africa. Please take a look here for some recommendations.
Shopping
Woolworths and Checkers on the High street both have a good selection of hot and cold food, groceries and wine. Pick 'n' pay caters for all further household needs and can be found in the small shopping centre to the right as you enter the village (Opposite the BP Garage).
